Jan. 23rd, 2010

Hi guys.

We're organising a get-together this following Monday (25 Jan 2010) for everyone to spend some time with each other...also partly cuz Joel's leaving for AUS on the 26th and we can enjoy him for a while more :)

So it's just a laidback casual thing. Just hanging out. Whoever wants to come can just join :) now the issue is deciding what to do mann.

Vote away! Poll will be closed on Sunday 5 pm. Feel free to leave suggestions in the comments section (:

Thanks!

itinerary and things to bring

Hey all!!!

ARE YOU EXCITED FOR CLASS CHALET? :D

As you know, our chalet is in Changi and most of you might be worried about whether we'd be bored.

Here goes, the rough itinerary that the monitors came up with! :D

Day 1
Mid afternoon to evening: Check-in, BBQ preparation! (you can bring your own food to contribute :))
Evening to night: BBQ
Overnight: DVD marathon!! (please bring any awesome DVDs that you have! :) the more the merrier cos we can choose!)

Day 2
Morning: BREAKFAST! Homemade! (Yiwei and I are in charge WAHAHAH y'all are free to help out though! (: the cost of the ingredients will be shared by all staying on the 2nd day.)

Free and Easy

Whenever: LUNCH! Also homemade.

Free And Easy

Evening: DINNER! Not homemade. We spotted this seafood restaurant sign nearby so we'd probably be going there (: this is subject to change. In case it's too ex or whatever. But please bring $$ for this in case! You can also opt to stay back in the chalet to have your own dinner.

Free And Easy

Day 3
Everybody wake up and check out by 10.30 am!!!

As you can see, there are many Free And Easy slots. We have a list of possible activities to engage you in (like MAFIA at night haha!) for hopefully hours, unless of course you have your own things that you want to do (: anything goes, keepin it flexible. But just to let you know that we are prepared!

Here's where you can help out!

Things to Bring

Necessities like toiletries, clothes, TOWEL, comb, etc etc
DVDs! So that we can have more choices for our DVD marathon
SNACKS! For DVD marathon and any other time that you may be hungry (this includes cup noodles for yourself)
Board games/cards (imagine how many games we'd have if everybody brings one :D)
Fun Stuff like water guns and water bombs whoo!
Xbox + games if you want!
Soccer ball/Bball?
Anything that you want to try cooking haha!
Oh oh handphone chargers and 2-pin plugs lol! If you think you need.
$$ to pay for the chalet
Extra $ in case of any activities we want to do

Do contact any of the monitors to find out what else you can bring and to tell us if you're bringing anything :)

Here's to our class chalet! Thanks for coming :) we really appeciate y'all understanding that it's a bit more ex than our last one so we need to collect more money.

Directions to class chalet

Hi yay. Class chalet is in like, 2/3 days' time. So I'm here to give you all instructions as to how to reach the chalet.

So just to inform you all, our class chalet is at ALOHA CHANGI, CRANWELL BUNGALOW 2. So please do not end up at some other chalet because the area is rather big. And there's this forest-y place behind. So who knows what might happen to you.

The picture looks pixelised.  So here's the link -> http://www.aloharesorts.com.sg/templates/maps/Changi.htm
Our chalet is CB2. It's at the mid-left side. If you take 29 from Changi Village Bus Terminal, it should take around 4 or 5 stops. If you miss a stop you can just walk. Exercise is good. It should be the fifth stop. After you alight, just cross the road and the chalet should be somewhere close.

Buses to Changi Village Bus Terminal:

Bus No.:  2 (from New Bridge Road Terminal)

Bus No.: 29 (from Tampines Interchange)

Bus No.: 59 (from Bishan Interchange)

Bus No.: 109 (from Serangoon Interchange)

And there are shuttle bus services from Aloha Loyang to Aloha Changi. For the schedule, please click here -> http://www.aloharesorts.com.sg/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=386&Itemid=772

If I'm correct the timings should be at:

0930 hrs

1015 hrs

1430 hrs

1530hrs

1630 hrs

2130 hrs

So please turn up punctually for the shuttle bus. It won't wait for you. And if you miss it you have to wait quite long.

I would strongly advise you people to travel in groups so that if you get lost it'd be easier to find you guys, especially at Aloha Changi.

Check-in Timing:

3pm to 7.30pm

Please do not come too early.

Check-out Timing:

8.30am to 10.30am

People staying over till the last day, please do not oversleep.

Do open the links to take a look. Please do be extra careful and not destroy everything you come across. We have to pay for the damages.

5.

Occupants should observe the recommended capacity of each bungalow and/or chalet and should keep noise level to the minimal after 11pm. Aloha Resorts Management reserves the right to request Occupants who are found to have violated this regulation to leave the resort.

Please try to maintain a low-profile or else we will run into major issues.
The recommended no. of people: The suitable group size for day use is maximum 40 persons only; 8 persons only for night use.

10.

Use of air-con at aloha Loyang and aloha Changi is free for up to maximum of 25 units per day.  Any consumption beyond the maximum will be charged accordingly and to be paid upon check-out.

I don't really know what 25 units are. But please go green and save electricity.

Hello. Its the sept holidays now. Take care of yourselves. Goodbye :)

graduating video

Hey there! We need to send in 7-10 photos for the graduating video on Friday, 14th August 2009.

Would really appreciate your co-operation in voting/voicing out which photos you like!!!! The album link is:

http://www.photoshop.com/user/iwantadonut/?wf=share&trackingid=BTAGC&galleryid=63cf2ffac32c4bec819f7ce8c1025933

Some of the photos even date back to 2008! Some very the funny. Anyway I promise that the original photos are much larger than what you see (double click on the first photo to get started).

Hope it isn't too lag for y'all!! Look at all the photos carefully :D hope to send in photos that represent who we are as a class very well.

Voting ends on the afternoon of 13th August!!!! I know it's quite rush but thank you for your cooperation!

If you want to add on to the album or suggest/send in photos, don't hesitate to do so!

Also, if there is poor response, then the monitors will choose which photos to send in.

Alright then, LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR COMMENTS HEHEHEH. Spread the word!
